Phulkari Women of Jalandhar Host Successful Event on Cyber Safety- Talk by Cyber Security Expert Rakshit Tandon
Jalandhar, April 27, 2024: (satiya savera, Varinder sharma): Phulkari Women of Jalandhar organisation arranged a dynamic event focused on enhancing cyber safety awareness among its members.
The event, held on April 26th featured an engaging talk by renowned cyber security expert Dr Rakshit Tandon from Gurgaon.
The gathering saw a diverse audience coming together to learn about crucial aspects of online safety. Dr Rakshit Tandon’s insightful presentation covered topics such as protecting personal information, recognizing online threats, and safeguarding against cyber-attacks. Attendees were provided with practical tips and tools to navigate the digital landscape securely.
The event, which took place at the heart of Jalandhar, emphasised the importance of cyber hygiene in today’s interconnected world, was started by President Divya Mahajan.
Welcome address was given by Ruchika Aggarwal and Geetika Jain. Participants were encouraged to implement the knowledge gained to protect themselves and their families from potential online risks.

Students of Cambridge international school Jalandhar performed a cyber scam awareness skit.
Vice president Adwaita Tiwari, Treasurers Maninder Bhaizada and Mini chugh, Joint secretary Monal Kalsi along with managing commitee members pallavi Thakur and Nimisha Kapoor organised the event.
Dr Tandon told the audience that such initiatives play a vital role in empowering communities with the necessary skills to stay safe in the digital realm.
